Welcome to Sa3erha سعّرها ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.
By downloading, installing, or using Sa3erha سعّرها , you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Device Identifier: We generate a random, anonymous device identifier to distinguish users for analytics purposes. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any personal account and cannot be used to identify you personally.
Location Data: With your permission, we collect your device's GPS location to show you nearby stores and relevant deals in your area. Your location is used to calculate distance to stores and to filter content by city. We do not continuously track your location in the background — location is accessed only when you are actively using the App.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the App, including: flyer views and time spent on flyers, search queries, items you clip to your shopping list, items you share, lists you share, session duration, and screen views.
Advertisement Interaction: We record when banner advertisements are displayed to you (impressions) and when you tap on them (clicks), including which items were clipped or shared as a result of viewing an advertisement.
Account Information (Optional): You may choose to create an account using one of the following methods: phone number with OTP verification, Apple Sign-In, or Google Sign-In. When you register, we collect the information provided by the authentication method you choose, which may include your phone number, name, and email address as provided by Apple or Google.
Shopping List: Items you add to your shopping list are initially stored locally on your device. If you create an account, your shopping list data is synced to our servers so you can access it across multiple devices. Custom items you add to your list are also stored.
Search Queries: Your search terms are collected anonymously to improve our search functionality and understand popular product interests.
We do not collect payment information, contacts, photos, calendar data, microphone or camera access, health data, or browsing history outside the App. Account registration is optional and the App can be used without creating an account.
To Provide the Service: Displaying relevant flyers and deals based on your location, showing nearby stores, and enabling your shopping list across devices.
To Improve the App: Analyzing usage patterns, popular searches, engagement metrics, and time spent on content to enhance features and user experience.
To Serve Advertisements: Displaying banner advertisements within the App. Ads may be targeted based on your city location only — we do not use behavioral profiling or cross-app tracking.
To Measure Ad Effectiveness: Tracking whether users who view advertisements subsequently clip or share items, to provide performance reports to advertisers.
To Generate Aggregated Insights: We create anonymized, aggregated reports (e.g., total flyer views, popular product categories, store engagement) that may be shared with retail store partners. These reports never identify individual users.
To Communicate With You: If you have registered an account, we may use your contact information to send important service-related notices. We do not send marketing communications without your explicit consent.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Specifically:
No Third-Party Analytics SDKs: All analytics are processed by our own custom-built systems hosted on our servers.
No Third-Party Advertising Networks: All advertisements served in the App are managed directly by us. We do not use Google AdMob, Facebook Audience Network, or any other third-party ad SDK.
Authentication Providers: If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, the authentication process is handled by the respective provider. We receive only the information you authorize (such as name and email). We do not share your App usage data back with these providers.
Aggregated Data for Partners: We may share anonymized, aggregated analytics reports with retail store partners (e.g., "Your flyer received 5,000 views this week"). These reports contain no data that could identify any individual user.
Hosting Provider: Our servers and database are hosted on DigitalOcean infrastructure. DigitalOcean processes data on our behalf as a data processor and is contractually bound to protect your data.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
For users without an account, shopping list data is stored locally on your device only. For registered users, account information and shopping list data are stored on secure servers provided by DigitalOcean, located in Frankfurt, Germany. Analytics data is stored on the same secure infrastructure.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure database access controls, hashed and salted credentials where applicable, and regular security reviews to protect your data.
We retain data for the minimum period necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy:
Account Data: Retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data is deleted within 30 days.
Analytics Events: Retained for up to 24 months for trend analysis, then automatically deleted or anonymized.
Advertisement Data: Impression and click records are retained for the duration of the advertising campaign plus 12 months for reporting purposes.
Shopping List (Local): Stored on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall. You have full control over this data.
Shopping List (Synced): For registered users, retained on our servers as long as your account is active. Deleted upon account deletion request.
You can deny or revoke location permission at any time through your device's settings. The App will continue to work but will default to manual city selection and will not show distance to stores.
If you have an account, you may delete your account and all your data through the account deletion option in your Account settings
If you do not have an account, you may request deletion of any analytics data associated with your device identifier by contacting us at [email protected]. We will process your request within 30 days.
Your data may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, specifically in Frankfurt, Germany. By using the App, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in these locations. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data regardless of where it is processed.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. For registered users, we may also notify you via email for significant changes. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
